How to Download Episodes for Offline Listening
Downloading episodes allows you to listen without an internet connection. This is especially helpful when traveling or when you may not have reliable internet access.
There are several places within the Daily Audio Bible app where you can download episodes for offline listening.
Downloading an Episode from the Player Page
Beginning with app version 2.0.4, which was released on September 7th, 2026, the download option on the Player Page can be found within the Meatballs menu (three small dots).
Follow these steps:
Open the episode
From the Player Page, open the episode you would like to download.Tap the Meatballs menu
Tap the three small dots to expand the additional episode options.Tap Download Episode
Select Download Episode to begin downloading the episode to your device.
Once the download is complete, the episode will be available for offline listening.
Downloading an Episode from the Home Page
If you have your Listen Next section set up, you can also download episodes directly from the Home Page.
Follow these steps:
Locate the episode in Listen Next
From the Home Page, find the episode within the Listen Next section.Swipe left on the episode
Swipe left on the episode you would like to download.Tap the download icon
Tap the cloud icon with the down arrow to begin downloading the episode.
Downloading an Episode from Channels
You can also download episodes directly from a channel.
Follow these steps:
Open a channel
Navigate to the channel containing the episode you would like to download.Swipe left on the episode
From the episode list, swipe left on the episode you would like to download.Tap the download icon
Tap the cloud icon with the down arrow to begin downloading the episode.
Don't See the Download Option on the Player Page?
The Download Episode option was moved to the Meatballs menu beginning with version 2.0.4, which was released on September 7th, 2026, of the Daily Audio Bible app.
If your Player Page looks different or you do not see this option, check the App Store or Google Play Store to make sure you have the latest version of the DAB app installed.
You're All Set!
Once an episode has been downloaded, it will be available for offline listening even when you don't have an internet connection.
