Daily Audio Bible Core Values
A Clear Mission
At Daily Audio Bible, we believe each person has a meaningful role in God's unfolding story, and it’s crucial that we clearly understand and stay true to the mission God has given us. Knowing our role helps us focus our resources and avoid stepping into areas where others are already doing great work. We follow the example from Acts 2:42.
1. People of Scripture
We believe thriving spiritually is impossible without daily interaction with the Bible. Engaging with Scripture daily transforms how we see life, shapes our decisions, and influences our worldview. We'll keep sharing God's spoken Word freely and globally, using every method God provides, for as long as He allows.
2. People of Prayer
God created humanity for relationship, not just salvation. Prayer is our conversation and connection with God. Through prayer, we align ourselves with God’s will, seeking "His Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven." History shows us that earnest prayer moves mountains, pushing back darkness and bringing God's Kingdom.
3. Building Community
Life and Scripture both teach us that community is essential. Isolation leaves us vulnerable and disconnected. True community offers safety, balance, and wisdom. From the Israelites to Jesus and the early church, community was essential. We aim to model healthy, supportive community, especially for those who’ve felt hurt, excluded, or unable to connect elsewhere.
Our Values
Irreversible Change
Our ultimate goal is lasting transformation—not just learning, inspiration, or encouragement, though these naturally happen. Real transformation awakens hearts and empowers individuals to influence others for lasting change.
The Holy Spirit
Early Celtic Christians called the Holy Spirit the Wild Goose, symbolizing God’s untamed, free-spirited nature (John 3:8). We listen closely for His guidance, open to unexpected directions and confirmations from God.
Progressive Maturity
We grow step by step: crawl, walk, run. Growth takes patience and hope. We know we're not yet all we'll become, and we're excited for what's ahead.
Growth led by God
Our mission isn't about size, buildings, or complex structures. Rather, it's about empowering people who've experienced lasting change to boldly pursue their own missions. Our growth happens as God guides it, keeping our focus on mission, simplicity, and family.
Scripture, and Daily Walk
The Bible anchors all we believe. Any path contradicting Scripture is off limits. We apply wisdom from lifelong learning and our daily relationship with God, remaining open to His surprising directions (Acts 6:3, Eph 1:17).
Forgiveness and Leadership
Everyone falls short, but God's forgiveness and love never fail. We strive for humility, compassion, and forgiveness in all our interactions. Jesus modeled servant-leadership, so we step down to serve others rather than rise above.
The Heart is Central
Our faith isn't just intellectual; it comes from the heart. Losing heart means losing spiritual vitality. Life’s struggles often challenge our hearts, but Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted (Ps. 147:3, Isa 61:1, Lk 4:18). Loving God wholeheartedly requires a healthy, restored heart, guided daily by the Holy Spirit toward becoming more like Christ.
