How to Change Your Display Name

Your display name is the public name that appears when you participate in community features such as the Prayer Wall. You can change your display name at any time to help protect your privacy or personalize how your name appears to others.

Follow these steps to update your display name:

1. Open Settings
   From the home page of the DAB app, tap the settings gear icon in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Open your Profile
   Look for the option labeled Profile and tap it.

3. Update your display name
   Locate the Display Name field and enter the name or nickname you would like others to see when you participate in community features.

4. Save your changes
   After updating your display name, save your changes to apply the update to your account.

Your display name is the name that other users will see when you interact within the community.

For example, your display name may appear when:

• Posting on the Prayer Wall

• Sending prayers or encouragement

• Participating in other community features

Using a display name allows you to maintain privacy while still participating in the DAB community.

Your updated display name will now appear anywhere your activity is visible to others within the app.
