How to Cast or AirPlay Episodes

The DAB app supports casting and AirPlay, allowing you to play episodes on compatible TVs, speakers, and other devices.

Note: Casting and AirPlay support was added in version 2.0.2, released on June 22, 2026. If you do not see the casting button, make sure you have updated to the latest version of the app.

Follow these steps to cast or AirPlay an episode:

1. Update to the latest version of the app
   Make sure you are running DAB version 2.0.2 or later. The casting feature is not available in earlier versions.

2. Open an episode in the full player
   Start playing any episode and open the full player screen.

3. Locate the casting button
   On the player page, you will see the casting button located between the Playback Speed button and the Listened button.

4. Tap the casting button
   Tap the casting button to view available devices.

5. Select your device
   Choose the compatible AirPlay or casting device you would like to use.

6. Begin listening
   Audio will begin playing through your selected device.

If you do not see the casting button:

1. Verify that you have updated to DAB version 2.0.2 or later

2. Make sure your device supports AirPlay or casting

3. Ensure your casting device is connected and available on the same network

You can now enjoy DAB episodes on compatible TVs, speakers, and other casting-enabled devices.
