DAB Release – 2.0.1 – App Update

We’re excited to release Version 2.0.1, focused on stability, performance, and overall user experience improvements across the platform.

This update includes important fixes related to login stability, playback improvements, content reliability, and overall app performance.

• Stabilized the login experience to prevent unexpected logouts

• Extended user sessions to keep users logged in for 30+ days

• Resolved login delays and authentication-related errors

• Strengthened Login and Registration flow to address API errors and cancellation-related stalling

• Fixed an issue where Android account information was not properly retrieved during first-time login

• Improved Guest Login stability, including persistent device connectivity and proper Channel image loading

• Fixed scenarios where Giving History did not display all donations

• Subscription List now properly displays recent purchases

• Removed looping behavior that occasionally occurred on the Give Thank You page

• Episodes marked as Listened now save consistently

• Added the ability to copy content into Journals

• Stabilized the mobile web browser navigation menu

• Added a head-and-shoulders overlay guide for video recording

• Improved UI consistency across images, colors, text sizing, and layout elements

• Videos now play more reliably without unexpected pausing

• Fixed an issue where episodes were not appearing for some users

• Retained playback timer progress when returning to episodes

• Corrected the 30-second skip functionality to ensure accurate playback jumps

• Fixed Video Testimonial Play/Pause button state synchronization

• Resolved a loading issue in Testimonials when scrolling through large numbers of videos

• Fixed multiple scenarios where Channel images were missing

• Resolved broken images during webpage refreshes

• Improved image consistency and loading reliability throughout the app

• Updated the available avatar selection for new users

• Fixed upload errors affecting some Prayer Request submissions

• Aligned Prayer Wall timestamps with local device time

• Improved persistent connection handling to DAB servers during webpage refreshes

• General performance, reliability, and stability improvements across the app
