How to Pause a Recurring Donation

If you need to temporarily stop your recurring donation, you can pause your gift without ending it completely.

You can choose to pause your recurring donation for 1 month, 3 months, or 6 months. After the selected time has passed, your gift will automatically resume.

Follow these steps to temporarily pause your gift:

1. Make sure you are logged into your DAB account
   Make sure you are signed in using the account associated with your recurring donation.

2. Open Settings
   From the Home page, tap the Settings (gear) icon in the upper right-hand corner.

3. Tap Giving History
   From the Settings menu, select Giving History.

4. Locate your active donation
   Find the recurring donation you would like to pause. Active recurring gifts will be labeled Active.

5. Open the donation details
   Tap the arrow on the right-hand side of the donation.

6. Tap Pause
   From the donation details screen, select Pause.

7. Choose how long you would like to pause
   Select one of the available options:

   • 1 month

   • 3 months

   • 6 months

8. Confirm your selection
   Follow the prompts to complete the pause.

Your recurring donation will be temporarily paused for the selected amount of time and will automatically resume afterward.

Your recurring donation is now paused. There is no need to manually restart your gift after the pause period ends—it will automatically resume based on your selection.
