How to Change the Amount of a Recurring Donation
If you would like to increase or decrease the amount of an existing recurring donation to Daily Audio Bible, you can make the change directly from the DAB app.
You do not need to stop your existing recurring donation and create a new one. Instead, you can edit the amount associated with your current gift.
How to Change Your Recurring Donation Amount
Follow these steps:
Make sure you are logged into your DAB account
Sign in using the account associated with your recurring donation.Open Settings
From the Home page of the DAB app, tap the Settings (gear) icon in the upper right-hand corner.Tap Giving History
From the Settings menu, select Giving History.Locate your active recurring donation
Find the recurring donation you would like to change and tap the donation record to open its details.Tap Edit Gift
From the donation details screen, select Edit Gift.Change your donation amount
Follow the prompts to enter the new amount you would like to give.Save your changes
Follow the remaining prompts to confirm and update your recurring gift.
Do I Need to Create a New Recurring Donation?
No. If you only want to change the amount of your existing recurring donation, you can edit the current gift through Giving History.
This allows you to keep your existing recurring donation while changing the amount for future gifts.
Don't See Your Active Donation?
Make sure you are logged into the DAB account associated with your recurring donation.
Keep in mind that Giving History does not currently display every method of giving. For example, donations made through PayPal, mailed checks, the DAB Store, stock donations, or other giving channels may not appear or be managed from this section.
If you believe your recurring donation should appear but cannot locate it, please contact Support for assistance.
You're All Set!
Your recurring donation amount has now been updated. Future gifts associated with that recurring donation will use your updated amount.
